The Ethiopian Radiation Protection Authority (ERPA) is located around Bulgaria Mazoria Yared Aregawi building.

The Authority is one of the institutions organized under the Science and Technology Ministry and structured into two main Core Processes, NAD and IED and other Support Services.

    Objectives

  • To make sure that radiation and nuclear technology are put to use for the purpose of development and conduct regulatory supervision work so that radiation that comes to the country from outside and those that are found naturally don’t cause harm on present and future environment and generations and to also create suitable situations so that the technology is used widely for peaceful development.
